Editor's note: We miss the old Instagram logo but we gotta admit that the new one has some brilliant elements. The warm, sunset-style colors scream "golden hour," the last hour before sunset when even a bad photographer can get a good picture and when the good photographers make sure they're out shooting and melt with happiness over the soft, golden, forgiving light. We also love the retro nod to the old analog cameras; the real point of photography is to make us feel nostalgia for moments lived or not lived. Brilliant logo, beloved app, great wallpapers.
